This Academy class on Engaging Leaders presents an opportunity for all who are interested in growing in their faith and understanding of what it means both to be an engaging leader and to engage other leaders in helpful and effective ways. This class will explore:
- how we, as individuals, have unique gifts and preferences in our leadership,
- how congregational systems and size impact the way things work,
- how to manage the gifts, pitfalls and preferences of conflict, as well as
- the importance of faith formation, self-care and boundaries for all leaders.
Participants will have one book to read in advance and two instruments to take prior to the class.
Cost is $150 for the class. Or payment can be included in a package for all 11 classes that are a part The Academy (a leadership development program of the Synod of Lakes and Prairies in partnership with the presbyteries of Minnesota Valleys, North Central Iowa, Northern Waters, and Prospect Hill).
